We collect as little as we can get away with, we use it only to run the service, and we never sell it. This page explains the details.

Who we are

StreamLivestic ([registered business name], [registered address], India) runs streamlivestic.com and the streaming service described on it. For data-protection purposes we are the data fiduciary / controller of the information described below. Reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

You give us

• Account details — name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Waitlist details — name, email and, if you choose to share it, your YouTube channel.
• Your videos — the files you upload so we can stream them.
• Your stream key — stored encrypted, never shown in full after saving, never written to our logs.
• Support messages — whatever you send us by email.

We generate

• Stream records — when a stream started and stopped, uptime, health and reconnect events, so you can see what happened and we can fix problems.
• Technical logs — IP address, browser type and timestamps, kept for security and debugging.
• Usage counts — storage used, bandwidth sent, so we can bill fairly and size our servers.

We do not collect

Card numbers, UPI IDs and bank details never reach our servers. Payments are handled entirely by our payment partner; we only see that a payment succeeded, its amount, and the last few digits of the instrument.

Why we use it

• To run your stream and show you its status — this is the core of the contract between us.
• To take payment, issue invoices and meet tax obligations.
• To email you about your account: trial ending, renewal, a stream that dropped, a change to these terms.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To answer your support messages.
• To send occasional product news, only if you ask for it. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the service, and only the data they need:

• Hosting and servers — [provider], for the website, app and streaming servers.
• File storage — [provider], for your uploaded videos.
• Payments — [provider] for India, [provider] internationally.
• Email delivery — [provider], for account and support email.
• Error monitoring and analytics — [provider], to spot crashes and understand which pages are used.

We also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Where it is stored

Our streaming servers are located outside India (currently in Europe), because that is where the bandwidth a 24/7 stream needs is affordable. Your videos and account data may therefore be processed outside India under appropriate contractual protections.

How long we keep it

• Videos — until you delete them, or 30 days after your account closes.
• Account details — while your account is open, then up to 90 days.
• Invoices and payment records — as long as tax law requires, currently eight years in India.
• Technical logs — up to 90 days.
• Waitlist details — until we launch and you either join or ask us to remove you.

Security

Traffic to the site and app is encrypted in transit. Stream keys are encrypted at rest. Passwords are hashed. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfect, but if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can withdraw consent for marketing email at any time, and you can nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

The marketing site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses a session cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember small preferences such as the currency you picked. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly tool and update this page.

Children

The service is not for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and move the date at the top. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders.
